Two of the team members, Dr Shaghayegh Karimzadeh and Dr Vasco Bernardo, in collaboration with Assist Prof Onur Kaplan from the American University of the Middle East, are editing a Special Issue entitled “Challenges in Civil and Earthquake Engineering Addressed by Data-Driven/AI Approaches” for the open-access journal–”Buildings” from Switzerland (Impact Factor 3.324, Journal Rank: JCR – Q2). This special issue aims at the application of Data-driven (DD), Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques to problems in civil and earthquake engineering.
