A tool for the fast generation of masonry specimens

The S4H team is currently developing a tool to enable the fast generation of masonry specimens. This latter aims at helping any structural engineer or researcher to build masonry specimens much faster. The tool is implemented into the well-known Rhinoceros+Grasshopper environment. However, it aimed at being used by anyone, even requiring no particular experience with this software. For now, only single-leaf bond patterns are supported, as one can note in the video below; the extension to other multi-leaves assemblage is under current investigation. The team is now working on the transfer of the built geometry as an input into the most commonly used structural analysis software.
