Federica is a graduate student of the Master in Structural and Geotechnical Civil Engineering from the University of Catania, Italy. She has accomplished her thesis on Discrete Macro-Element Method DMEM for the seismic vulnerability assessment of masonry churches through Incremental Dynamic Analyses.
Currently, she is a Ph.D. Candidate within the S4H project at the University of Minho. More specifically, she is mainly involved in WP4, which provides a set of new standards combined with an integrated analytical approach for the out-of-plane seismic assessment and subsequent intervention design of heritage masonry buildings.
