Dr Shaghayegh Karimzadeh, in collaboration with Assoc Prof António Aguiar Costa from the University of Lisbon and Dr Omid Hassanshahi from the University of Minho, are editing a Special Issue entitled “Transformation in the Building Design and Construction Industry: Smart Technologies, Sustainable Practices, and Artificial Intelligence Applications” for the open-access journal “Buildings” from Switzerland (Impact Factor 3.1, Journal Rank: JCR – Q2). This Special Issue aims to bring together multidisciplinary scholars, researchers, and practitioners to present original research, review articles, and case studies addressing the intersection of smart, sustainability, and AI approaches in construction materials, infrastructures, and buildings.
