Christiam Camilo Angel N. is a Civil Engineer with an M.Sc. in Management of Built Environment (2021 – Politecnico di Milano – Italy), and an M.Sc. in Structural Engineering (2015 – Universidad de Los Andes – Colombia). He accrues over six years of work experience in the academy, research, and industry, which have given him entrepreneurial, innovation, and leadership skills, beyond his solid technical knowledge. His jobs in the sector have been related to structural design, consulting, feasibility evaluation, and team coordination in office and construction sites. The research-related ones encompass modeling, programming, and experimental characterization of materials in laboratory and under analytical conditions; many of the results have been exposed in national and international conferences and peer-reviewed journals.
Currently, he is a Ph.D. candidate within the S4H project, studying the out-of-plane dynamic behavior of masonry walls through experimental shaking table tests.
